Dominic Purcell Joins Arrow/Flash Spinoff

According to Deadline it looks like Captain Cold and Heatwave won't be splitting up after all in the proposed superhero (and super villain) team-up spinoff set in the Arrow/Flash universe.

Arrow - 3.13 - Canaries - Review: You Could Be Her

VERTIGO (GUEST STAR PETER STORMARE) RETURNS AND PITS CANARY AGAINST BLACK CANARY — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is thrown by the changes within Team Arrow. He’s used to calling the shots but sees that the team has evolved in his absence and tensions quickly escalate in the lair. Oliver is furious that Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has been going out as the Black Canary and tells her to stop risking her life, but when Vertigo (guest star Peter Stormare) hits the streets again, Laurel goes against Oliver’s wishes and tracks down Vertigo who hits her with a full dose of the drug. Laurel’s biggest fears revolve around her sister Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) so the Vertigo causes her to hallucinate an epic fight between Canary and Black Canary. Meanwhile, Chase (guest star Austin Butler) surprises Thea (Willa Holland), and Roy (Colton Haynes) warns Thea to stay away from Malcolm (John Barrowman).

TV News Update - Milo Ventimiglia Gets Recurring Role on Gotham

Milo Ventimiglia, Adam Levine stand-in and Heroes alumnus has been cast in a recurring role on the FOX's freshman drama, Gotham as a character by the name of Orge.

Ventimiglia character's real name is Jason Lennon and is described as "handsome, wealthy and seductive". But underneath all of that hides a serial killer who’s been murdering young women in Gotham for almost a decade in his search for a perfect mate.

Now there’s an Ogre in the DC Comics mythology but the Gotham character is unrelated and is an entirely new creation for the show. He’ll debut in the 19th episode of the season.

Nice to have Ventimiglia in something DC comics related for a change seeing as how he been busy after Heroes voicing characters for Marvel Anime and Ultimate Spider-Man lately. But this role is just the beginning for Ventimiglia in 2015 he has starring roles in TNT’s Mob City and the upcoming mid-season drama The Whispers on ABC.

TV New Update - Emmy Kinney gets cast as The Bug-Eyed Bandit

Emily Kinney, an actress best known for her work on AMC's The Walking Dead is set to appear on episode 1x18: All-Star Team-Up' of The Flash. The episode features a crossover with sister show Arrow featuring the characters of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) coming to Central City under the guise of Ray getting some help from STAR labs with his ATOM suit.
